www.selfcateringitaly.co.uk - There is a small zoo about 20 minutes' drive from Dumenza in the Swiss village of Magliaso near the shores of Lake Lugano, Here you will find a variety of animals, including monkeys, apes, and big cats. A black panther and a leopard share a cage. They appear to get on. In the cage next to them is a Siberian leopard with its beautiful white fur, Further on are various birds. After that you will find Vietnamese pigs. Only two came out to meet us when we were there. There is a also a colony of Japanese apes with red faces and red bottoms, in fact exactly the same shade of red. The highlight of the zoo is the lions' pen. When the male roars not only do your ears shake but the ground beneath you shakes as well.
