Laveno is only 35 minute by car Dumenza and from her you can catch a car ferry to the other side of the lake, leaving every 20 minutes. But there is plenty to see and do in Laveno as well. Laveno has a beautiful panorama of the shore on the Piedmont side of the lake, and the Borromean Gulf

The town is overlooked by the Sasso di Ferro which can be reached by cable car or by walking along the ancient mule-track.

As well as having so many beautiful panoramas, Laveno is also famous for its pottery and china. The photos below were taken on taken on New Year's Eve. Lake Maggiore is great for holidays at any time of year.
