- Caslano - Caslano is on Lake Lugano in Switzerland, between Ponte
Tresa and Agno. It is about 20 minutes drive from Dumenza. The main piazza
is on the lake with views of snow capped Alps and Caslano's own little
bay on the lake.
Monte
Caslano is a small mountain that rises up from the lake separating Caslano
from the rest of the Lake Lugano. Giro Monte Caslano starts from via Stremadone,
just off the main piazza on the lake in Caslano. With views of Lake Lugano,
it makes an ideal afternoon walk.
When
you get to the other side of the Monte Caslano you will find the small
hamlet of Torrazza, where you can stop for a drink. Albergo Ristorante
Fonte dei Fiori has a small terrace overlooking its garden and a church
on the other side of a small stretch of water.
